Quebec University students went on strike this past year over proposed tuition increases. The cost of post secondary education continues to rise in waterloo and the majority of other Ontario Universities. Given the end result for students in Quebec, do you feel that this would be an effective avenue for students here to explore? If so, as a member of OUSA and feds council, why did you not bring up the possibility of joining the Quebec students to the other members? If you feel this isn’t right for us, why is that and what is your plan for the continuing high cost of post secondary education?
